Pony songs
Songs inspired by My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which I was into for years. I used many of these on EqueestriaMUCK.

Art of the Dead Art of the Dress (Daniel Ingram), after "Putting it Together" in Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim. EquestriaMUCK I posted this on the MUCK forum. On EquestriaMUCK, Dinky had a special relationship with Princess Luna, who once suggested she could grow up to be a necromancer.
Cadance's Plea to Prismia
Original Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell (G.M. Berrow) and The Pony Who Lived Upstairs
As sung by young Cadance in the published novel, and later performed by my own version in my fan novel.
Derpy's Bubble Song Giggle at the Ghostly (Daniel Ingram)
Parody
Written early into my time playing Derpy. Possibly at a Mayday celebration.
Derpy Orange Crush Orange Crush (R.E.M.)
Parody
I was playing Rock Band with my MUCK friends and decided to sing "Orange Crush" in a Derpy voice. It worked and made them laugh, so...
Derpy's Origin Song Brain Problem Situation (They Might Be Giants) Parody
It's a deep cut.  (6.9)
Derpy's Song for Dinky Celestia's Ballad (Daniel Ingram)
Parody
I played both characters on the MUCK. I must have sung this to myself at some point, but I don't remember it!
Diamond Dancer's Song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (The Beatles) EquestriaMUCK I don't remember why I sang this song on the MUCK, but I must have. Diamond Dancer was my character Clara's best friend and adopted sister, sort of.
The Diamond Diggers' Song The Diggers' Song
EquestriaMUCK Sung by my Diamond Dog character, Clara the Healthkeeper.
The Elements of Harmony Still Alive (Jonathan Coulton) from Portal
Parody
One of the songs I wrote early into bronydom. Sang it at a con once, and another time while jiving in a minivan with visiting MUCK friends (until I forgot the words and the vibe was lost).
The Farmer and the Cloudmare "The Farmer and the Cowboy" (from Oklahoma by Rodgers & Hammerstein)
Parody
I wrote this song as a prize for a MUCK contest involving my Battleship-inspired game Skymaster. The winner was our Vinyl Scratch, who requested a song about a particular Season 1 episode called "The Running of the Leaves." I'd already written two Oklahoma parodies, so I gave her this!
Four Ball Trick Shot Original EquestriaMUCK
Sung by Derpy about Dinky's origin on the MUCK... I think! Or was this part of A Meerkat in Equestria?
Good Day Ride Original
A Meerkat in Equestria
I wrote this in a private roleplay with Yaro Kasear that eventually led to my unfinished 2011 NaNoWriMo project. Sung by Derpy in flight. I also repurposed the Beatles song "Blackbird" for that relationship as being about Derpy's mother.
Into the Dawn Want You Gone (Jonathan Coulton) from Portal 2
The Combinatorics Project (Pinkie Pie's Travelogue)
A touching closer for the longest chapter I've ever written.
Mbala's Song At the Gala (Daniel Ingram)
Parody
I wrote this for my friend Mbala. Later, I actually gave him a treat and recorded myself singing it in two parts. It was silly but made him laugh.
Ode to Luna Original
EquestriaMUCK Written for the in-MUCK Greek-style play The Night of Two Moons.
O Holey Night (derpy version) O Holy Night (Placide Cappeau/Adolphe Adam) EquestriaMUCK
I don't remember when I sang this on the MUCK, but clearly I was just being silly!
Orange Blossom Poppyseed Green Finch and Linnetbird, from (Stephen Sondheim)
EquestriaMUCK About my interpretation of Derpy, who lived in a hovel. Did I actually sing this on the MUCK? I don't remember.
Peach Spark's Song The Joker (The Steve Miller Band) The Pony Who Lived Upstairs
As sung by the title character!
Pinkie's Cog Song Original
The Combinatorics Project (Pinkie Pie's Travelogue) Technically, at least with the bvowels I prefer, "cog" doesn't rhyme with "fog." But close enough.
Pinkie's Song Coming Back Soon (The Bereft Man's Song) (Crash Test Dummies)
Parody
Wrote early in my bronydom. I got through an MRI scan without moving by singing this song in my head, among others.
Pinkie Went a Courtin' Froggy Went a Courtin' (traditional)
The Combinatorics Project (Pinkie Pie's Travelogue) Sung by Pinkie Pie.
Scootaloo's Song Scooby Doo Theme Song
Parody
No notes!
Speed, Speed, Speed Smile, Smile, Smile (Daniel Ingram)
Parody
It's Pinkie Pie's signature song, but repurposed to be about Rainbow Dash. I sang this for an acquaintance once and she said it wasn't even parody.
Splinter Wrap-Up Winter Wrap-Up (Daniel Ingram)
The Combinatorics Project (Pinkie Pie's Travelogue) For a while, "Winter Wrap-Up" was my favorite song from the series and one of the few I knew in full. Sung by Pinkie in my fan novel.
What Has Happened Here? Original
EquestriaMUCK Written for the in-MUCK Greek-style play The Night of Two Moons.
